How To Get All 3 Starter Pokémon On Gold And Silver

FAQ (because I had to answer the same questions too many times...):

Q: Does this work in Crystal?
A: I'm not sure, some people say it does, some people say it doesn't, the only way to tell is if you try it yourself.

Q: Why is the trainer called Silver at the start but Mew at the end?
A: Because I switched to my game where I had already done the glitch, in this case I had named my trainer Mew.

Q: This is fake. (not a question but I get this a lot)
A: No one says you have to believe me. If you're not willing to try it yourself to see then don't bother with this video in the first place.

Q: Where do you get Pokemon games from?
A: You can get them pretty much any emulator website, I have no idea where mine came from though.

Q: Can you send me the game/you're save file?
A: No.

Q: Does this work on R/B/Y?
A: Yes, I think it does.

Q: Does this work on any game after G/S/C?
A: No, this particular glitch was fixed after G/S/C.

Q: I get to *insert random part here* and it doesn't save/doesn't reload/doesn't work, what should I do?
A: Try again, it doesn't always work first time round and make sure you follow these instructions exactly!

Q: Is this a risky glitch?
A: It is possible that it can corrupt you're data. If you do it on a GBA cartridge then it can mess up the whole thing so do this at you're own risk. Emulators are safer since they can just be downloaded again.

Q: Why don't all the starters show up on the Pokedex?
A: Because anything done before the process isn't accurately saved, therefore the Pokedex data isn't there.

Q: How do you get the Pokemon to show up on the Pokedex?
A: Breed the starters with a Ditto in Daycare.
