first testing of a preowned Honda generator. at the very end it's misfiring slightly because the gas valve was turned off prior.

  • do you run this thru a transfer switch to power your house?

  • @ab9957 no this is only for temp use. see my video: "Winco standby generator test" ...but the transfer switch can only be seen in the video: "Sump Pump - The Movie part 2" (at 2:05)

  • I got one of them, It Sound's just like it... I'm swapping it for a Quieter one, I use it for My caravan, and I don't wanna cause much off a Din. Greetings from Cheshire, UK :-)

  • @MrFasttrack1 agree these are loud units however very good quality. take a look at the video (and listen) to the Honda EU2000 I bought last year. it's very quiet and runs excellent. I just put it in the back of my truck a short time ago, to use tomorrow at an all day Cushman Scooter Meet, to power the sound system. cheers from Chicago and thank you for watching my video. -Kat

  • Question. If you buy something like this on ebay how do you get this shipped?Do they deliver it to your home?

  • @lazimofo90 this one was a local pickup. to ship a large or heavy item you find a freight company that's in the area. shipping large items depends on the seller, some won't ship heavy items or it's not cost effective to ship.

  • @harmonicsl I sent you a message on this.

  • chatrkat, thankyou very much for your reply. i forgot to mention that my generator is not honda, but craftman. do you know much about generators? if so im having problems with mine. my name is richard thanks

  • @harmonicsl my best guess would be your generator output is fluctuating a little, but don't worry about that small amount. Honda generators tend to be very stable, provided the engine is running correctly. you can test your meter by putting the probes in your home wall receptacle, it should hold steady if not then the meter is failing.

  • sir, i have a question, i noticed you have afluke multitester. i also have a generator, and anentry level multitester. when i plug in my multi tester, such as you have here, you get a steady reading of 120 when i plug in mine, it fluctuates fro 120to i23 it that normal, or it it because my multitester is cheap, or something wrong with my generator?
