@Radioactive2011 remember, youtube also really cuts down video quality, especially frame rates!
-
There seem to be no difference n fps between 60 fps and 30. Is the video compressed to lower fps? It strutters a lot which makes it impossible to compare the different fps settings.

is the crocolis camera as good as an HD Hero camera? what would u say?
-
Man! that's nice! U could easily add a servo controlled camera on it, with a transmitter to one of these glasses-displays, and charge people for "getting a flight" :)

Great job! What kind of remote controlled helicopter was that? Loved it! Where can I buy the helicopter?

@ewavemedia Hi there. I am flying a diy electric hexacopter - as seen in my latest video
Turnkey ones can be bought for US$10k-20k but many choose to build like me for 1/10th the cost. Even the commercial ones require extensive r/c knowledge and setting up. While easier than an rc heli to fly, they still require similar skills to fly.
I am now testing camera stabilization which will keep the camera straight while I chase bikes etc.

@Radioactive - no i didn't see much difference but I haven't tried slow-motion with the 60fps yet. It does stutter if you pan too fast though, that's for sure.

Thanks - I actually added a tilting mount last night - activated by the side slider of my Futaba 10C. At full up, it just misses the underside of the front motor at 1080p. I am already using video downlinks on my AP Trex600 and T700... and I have a spare which will be on this soon. I'm nearly finished a lighter hex (400g saving) so the downlink is waiting for that! Subscribe and watch this space ;)

Daughter... no, just some strange kid from the next street over! I asked her to go for a run as I wnt to test slowing the video down (it was shot at 60fps).
The diy hexacopter weighs 2.2kg including battery and has an Openpilot control board. It will lift 1.5Kg!
