No. I just trashed the brushed motor that came with the EasyStar and went right to a brushless TowerPro motor setup. The prop is even a 7x6 that I cut down to fit. Battery is a 2200 mAh 3S 25C and I hollowed out the EasyStar body foam so I could mount it more rearwards to balance the camera up front on the nose.

Awesome view - did you ever try flying the gopro on the stock motor/ESC setup that your EasyStar came with?
