One day I will figure out how to focus our webcam on the printed word.
============
This is a slideshow of all our Groo the Wanderer comic books.
Groo is a barbarian who is more dangerous than stampeding cattle, just not as smart.
Each story ended with a moral of some sort.
Cheese dip and muclh were the runing gags throughout the story.
============
As you might know, there is information, pictures and a whole host of stuff on this internet thing.
Some sites, if you care:
http://www.groo.com
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groo_the_Wanderer
http://www.povonline.com/Groo.htm
============
For the people who enjoy the detail of a video itself.
To create this video we used, WMM, AnimatorDV+ MSPaint and Limewire.
We took 148 pictures. Some of them I may have missed and do not appear in the video.
There is no actual FPS rate except for the Marvel Publishing sequence.
That is 120 pictures at 2 FPS.

  • It breaks my heart that I had to sell my almost my entire collection of groo, I had every book from every publisher , I still have about 10 issues left, along with some Mighty Magnor #1 copies.

  • @snookman62 I'm sorry you had to sell them off. I would have loved to hang out with you and read a bunch. Thanks for watching and stopping by.

    Peace.

  • PC Publishing and Image Publishing; that was the time when I read Groo.

    Kudos Kudo Kudos to the Creators.

  • No matter who the publisher was, I always found the comic a great read and a treat to my eyes. I still do.

    Thanks for stopping by. Peace.

  • Grro used to use spanish words for there characters like King Ojete,Which ojete is spanish means like jerk or asshole.

  • Tribute might be a bad term. They have guest appearances, by a lot of different comic book personalities, Alan Moore, Stan Lee,Grant Morrison and Mark Millar. and a ton of others I just can't think of their names right now. I've been dying to see Sergio Aragones, or Mark Evanier, since homer is so much like Groo, sans slaying.

    8) Loved your tribute to one of the greatest comic books of all time!

  • I was never a Simpsons fan so I had no idea they did tributes. Now I know.

    Thanks for stopping by. Peace.

  • Man when are the Simpsons going to do some kind of tribute to Sergio or Groo T. Wanderer? They've done tributes to so many others. Homer is pretty much a rip off of Groo without the killing.

    Damn it.
