Christian Kessee - UCLA Advanced Skills Camp 2009 - Basketball Highlights

Chris had his ankle stepped on by a 6'7" D1 center 5 days before UCLA camp. He decided to go, not wanting to miss the camp. After the camp he wore a boot cast for a few weeks. He did ok, but we were both disappointed that he was about 70% with speed and quickness and it hurt his performance.

Update: Christian was injured in June and was in a boot cast for 6 weeks so he played b-ball at 70% this summer. He just came off football playoffs a few weeks ago and his timing on the basketball court was a little off. After 4 games he is averaging 17 pts a game. Foul trouble and blowing out a few teams have hurt his scoring a bit, but I think the game will slow down more in a few games and his overall game should go up. He just turned 16 a few months ago and he is starting to grow again.

Nice skill set.  Like the fact that he seems cofortable with both hands and can go both ways.

If it ain't broken he should man up!!! Lol jk but he can't let the injury mess up his game. Just gotta go work on it.
