Tyler Perry's work speaks to those who go to chuuch on sunday and afterwards eat at the chuuch dinner! There is a place for his type of movies but to generalize and say that that's ALL that black people do is WAY OUT OF LINE! He does have an audience because it does actually exist. Spike Lee's movies speaks to the crowds that enjoy thick plots, intellectually stimulating subject matter. Unfortunately 4 Spike there are more people who enjoy bafoonery and less intellectually stimulating material.

Why must all people of any race be put into the same box? To say that black people are immoral is both judgmental and racist. There are people of every race with varied degrees of education, social graces and experiences. Everyone is not oreintated or exposed to the same environment. Many black people live moral, decent and upstanding lives.They love and worship God and respect themselves and others.They are socially aware and strive to educate themselves and others who are willing to learn!

I'm not the biggest Tyler Perry fan myself, BUT, why would Tyler be interested in being invited to the festival when he has millions of people coming to see his shows regardless. Tyler has his own studio, own t.v. shows, and more MONEY then all these people dissing him. I'm sure Tyler is not losing sleep because he's not being invited to a play festival. They talking like he's waiting on them.
