Two criminals are stalking the streets of London one dark night. Frank Clemmons, a cocky young man, holds psychiatrist Dr. Clive Esmond up at gunpoint, but Dr. Esmond manages to overpower him. Frank has two options; he can go to prison or he can be a guest at Dr. Esmond's house where he'll be a human guinea pig subjected to Dr. Esmond's scrutiny, which aims to cure him of his criminality. Frank agrees upon the latter.

Alexis Smith is lovely, & a fine actress. Is she British originally?

A wonderfully complex and layered psychological drama in a surprisingly tight package. All the three main roles were played remarkably well by their respective actors. I admire not only the span of character-developments, but their subtle gradations which they were presented.
In the general sense, this genre is 'Missing in Action' for a long time, so a heartfelt 'thank you' for uploading it is well deserved.

THANK YOU for sharing these top quality films with us. I'm completely disgusted by most TV shows, and I love having this alternative. Thanks for making it possible. The movie was really good. I adore Dirk Bogarde and had not seen this film. The cast of actors are great together and the film kept my interest. It might not be a "10" star but it is a movie worth seeing.

noir at it's best. gritty psychological turns. a real treat for fans of this genre.
