American male quartet singing a traditional Sardinian "Cantu a Tenore" folk song, "Ballu Dillu (A Sa Campagna)." We learned this dance song from a recording by Tenores di Bitti.
The singers are: Gideon Crevoshay (mesu oche), Carl Linich (contra), Avery Book (bassu), Doug Paisley (oche). Recorded at our second concert appearance, January 24, 2011, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA.

La grande arte e tradizione del canto a tenore è riconosciuta in tutto il mondo, qui nella nostra terra spesso passa inosservata e derisa.......non è così; onore e merito a chi da sempre ha cantato e si riconosce in quest'arte unica. COMPLIMENTI A CHI CERCA DI IMITARCI SERIAMENTE!

Bravi davvero, cari amici. Avete affrontato e superato un oceano di difficoltà, ma il risultato è buonissimo. Il canto a tenore è un relitto antichissimo, tanto prezioso e raro da essere considerato "patrimonio dell'umanità". Vi sentiamo parte della nostra Isola.
