@digger23d as schools are publicly funded... in other words.. if you want to practice witchcraft, cast curses or say prayers to god(s) or spirits... do it on your own private facilities (there is a tax break for that kind of behavior)

I think it is ok to pray if you mention the word "god" instead of the word "jesus" that way muslims and christians wont have to argue about who is violating whose religion. They share the same god.

There should be any praying is schools. Not at all. Its a public school. IF they want to pray. Go to another school. People are so stupid.

Of course kids should be allowed to pray in school. Pray for no pop-quizzes, or an A+ on a project or just pray for recess! Making your prayer obvious also allows atheist children to know who to make fun of! Religion needs to be made fun of more often! Not for all the good things that have been done; charity, social, community work. But for all the absurdities and atrocities; Creationism, virgin births, inquisitions, witch burnings, faith healing, misogyny, suicide bombers etc,etc,etc...

josephdupont, that's such a good point. Unfortunately, I feel like the only reason that I government flaunts those activities is because the vast majority of Americans WANT to see that. Sigh ... when did secularism die ... I'd like to know ...
