I have an old Hohner vinyl LP with various harmonica artists... Jelly Roll was on it with the song "Drown in My Own Tears"... awesome song ! awesome player ! Very melodic and very bluesy ! That song is still one of my favorites.
So glad to have met him at a Buckeye Harmonica Festival (2002 maybe)..
If I was interviewing Jelly, I would have asked him how he got his nickname "Jelly Roll".
He is one of my favorite harp players !
