Terry looks so damn cool in those shades!!

After all these years I'm still astounded that so much talent could find it's way into one band, and that they could work together to make such great music. These guys had it all.

one "dislike" on this one, huh? goes to show what that one "dislike" knows!

better than the studio version.

@StradMan37 Lee Loughnanes horn brought me to play the horn for many many years .... This band had more talent in it than in any of the top 20 of todays bands combined.

DAMN how I miss Terry Kath! He was one of the very best, no contest. He was the absolute soul of Chicago, and sadly, they never were the same after his tragic death. Too bad so few know of Terry today. Still, to true musicians, he'll always be remembered. (And DocRossow is right - Danny Seraphine is VERY underrated.) Thanks for a great post.

Thank you for posting! When I heard this song for the first time I knew that I was hearing something special, and that my musical tastes would be forever changed. "Introduction" is one of the greatest "sideone-song one" recordings ever. It enthusiastically told everyone what these guys were all about. And the highlights for me are the drumming of Daniel Seraphine, one of the most underrated rock drummers of all time.
Oh man drhey, I would sell a kidney to have seen that show. Am looking forward to seeing Peter at the May Knoxville concert. It won't be the same as seeing the "real" Chicago from '69 to '85, but I know I will enjoy just seeing and hearing Peter sing.

Let me know how that show is!
I just saw Peter on a PBS beg-a-thon with David Foster called Hitman. Cetera sounded excellent but not as good as when he was with Chicago.

You are welcome. Chicago opened with this song the first time I saw them. What a profound memory!
