  • @kristinlukow I'm guessing you mean the "pronghorn". Pronghorns are not antelopes even if you call them antelopes.

  • @ozerataoglu Nice New Vegas reference

  • Where the Molerats and the Fire Geckos claim...

  • They are Pronghorn Antelope, but wouldn't that sound retarded in the song. Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, and the deer and pronghorn antelope play. What you are saying is correct, but I say fail, because it doesn't matter.

  • @tarquin45 Not a good point. There were back in the day...at least is what they called them. This song is entirely accurate. Do a little research. Wow.

  • @TheGranule Thank you for agreeing that there are no antelope in the Americas.

  • @headly66

We have Pronghorn Antelope. thought technically not an antelope yet that is what the song is referring to.

Go to California. You will see Antelope Valley, Antelope Hills, and other place names that indicate that Pronghorns were very common until the turn of the last century. Nowadays, travel through Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and you can't avoid seeing the Pronghorn Antelope.

Are you an American, or an Easterner that you don't know this?

  • @tarquin45 ..lol. I had to think twice on what 'aongwriter' meant.

  • Antelope are in Texas guys... sorry to break it to you

  • @tarquin45 neither one of you are too bright . They are called Pronghorn antelope
