Teardrop Christmas greenery swags are very versatile as they can be used on a door, a wall or stairs railing posts. Dana Plazyk of http://www.flowers-by-design.com shows you specific steps and techniques to decorate a teardrop swag.
If you place your bow into the swag first you dont risk covering up your other elements when you add it later. You also wont be squishing it in between other elements. Bows should go on first.
You can also make any flower smaller by removing the larger, outter petals...Looks much more natural that way as well.
The top of this swag is completely flat. A spring of the berries shooting up out of the top would have tapered out the shape and given the piece much better movement and balance.
This video is great, wish I had seen before Christmas and New Years, I'll definitely try it this year!

How did you form the teardrop? What did you use to create it?
