@MrBladeCrash This is true. And I have heard many compare the taliban to the revolutionary Army during the revolutionary war. However, the primary difference is that the Taliban hide behind women and children, use suicide bombs, and behead POWs. Washington did none of that.

@angelmarine1292 All is fair in love and war. I don't feel any war fighter is a coward. You use what the battle field gives you to best destroy your enemy. General Washington sure did not have the best army in the world when he defeated the English super power at the time. He used some tactics that were creative yet effective against a better trained and armed enemy

The fact that we are capable of effectively destroying an enemy with minimal effort, because we pour billions into the development of military technology, doesn't make us cowards. However, simply attaching a cell phone to a shell, and putting it on a road side because they lack the supplies, and intelligence, to make anything more advanced, is not heroic. That is cowardice.
