I would have said "These men are not drunk as you suppose" They are merely proclaiming the kingdom of God in the languages of all those visiting. They are not falling over and acting whacked like drunk people so why accuse them of being drunk? They are of Sober mind.

Please read the context before assuming that Acts chapter 2 supports this hidious, disgusting movement.

Hi bis124, yes its Acts 2:15- "For these are not drunken, as ye suppose; seeing it is but the third hour of the day"

It was mockers that accused them of being drunk, it was not a Christian accusation. Verses 6-11 tells you exactly why they were accused of being drunk and it was simply because of them speaking and glorifying God in all the languages of those attending. Context does not support the idea that they were all rolling over the floor out of their minds. How would this gloryify God?
