Mystery solved..It's car lights in a distance the red serves as brake and tail lights and the unsteady lights are car lights approaching..the road is highway 45 directly north of the area where you see the light-

@Graphicspittz187 I still wanna no what the purple and yellow lights were! Actually some videos are car lights, some are the actual light! the REAL light sits in one spot and occasionally moves! It hasnt been out since 2007! It was a dark red (not tail light color) purple, yellow, white, and one time was green... I havent seen it since 07 and go there to check it every other weekend! Some say its gone, others say its there it just dont want to be known...

to continue my original post. the road he is on does veer off to the left, but the area where the trail it self begins in the north is heavily populated in tree and you can not see past them trees at the crest of the hill until you get down below the trail a few ways. i am not bein skeptical by no means, but i will discount an old railroad bed (ROW for the trains buffs) and i will discount headlights/taillights. whatever they are it is still a mystery.

ok, i'm a big time railfan nut. and i search for hours on end on google earth for old railroad beds. the area the lights are in are not an old railroad bed. it is an old road, so you can discount the ol' lantern and dead railroad crewman. the terrain in that area is very hilly. for someone to say that it's a car's headlights/taillights is denser than a doorknob. highway 45 does in fact run parallel to the old trail and it does in fact vear off to the left at the top of the hill.

I was there in the summer of '03 and you could easily tell it was car headlights/tail lights off in the distance. So yeah, it's a light.....but it's clearly no paranormal experience in itself. Actually, I found the crowd of nutso onlookers to be more of a supernatural encounter than some spooky light.

That's a bunch of bologna. They wouldn't have researched this for a long time. If Scientists aren't sure after the many decades, then it couldn't be cars. They wouldn't take this long if that was the case.
