Thomas Porter & Copper River Band ~ Can't You Hear Me Calling / Wheel Hoss

From the Agri-Country Bluegrass Festival at the Pinal county fairgrounds near Casa Grande Az. this is the smoothe sound of one fine bluegrass band. Teriffic individual vocal and instrumental talents combined with acapella vocals that had the huge crowd begging for more seems to be the trademark of this band! That's Thomas Porter on guitar, Doug Bartlett on fiddle, Jim Govern on mandolin, Bob Denoncourt on bass, and Dick Brown on the banjo. I will be posting more videos of this teriffic band! I am going to take the opportunity here to rant and rave just a bit! This habit of clapping after every solo during a tune HAS GOT TO STOP! WAIT TILL THE SONG IS OVER!!..THEN CLAP!!! What is really happening is that you end up STEPPING ON the beginning of the NEXT PERFORMERS part! Just enjoy the music WITHOUT INTERUPTING and at the END of the song..GO NUTS !!! So..in the future when you attend a bluegrass event and the person next to you does the Rude Interupting Thing..Just Whack 'em....
