  • Hey guys, I have a question: shaolin mantis (like this) = seven star mantis style? I mean the style mastered by Lee Kam Wing.

  • NO it's not

  • wow ! not bad for a white guy...David this is you ???

...could be David Lorrez from Belgium trained by shaolin monk...shi xing peng, who currently rezidez in the US...

  • Actually he is a hungarian siheng trained by Shi Xing Hong....

  • His understanding is good and he has some power. He is fast for his level. He needs to build leg strength and his hips aren't open yet. Pivotal teaching error. Northern styles should spend three years on legs. He has a good teacher, but one that wants recognition more than magnifying his student's potential. He has tremendous potential.

  • very slow... Good your studying Gung Fu, but still slow. Keep practing.

  • Need to open your chest more. But still pretty good!

  • He's good, but not that good. 0:12 Ban Ma Bu is done with the back straight. As Shaolinforever said, his hips are not yet open. 0:14 that's supposed to be a pushing side kick, right? He needs more mobility, more flexibility. He's good, no doubt, but... he should know the basics better than this.

  • Cool! What is the name of this form?

  • thanks for clarifying its northern not southern

  • ummmm... he is white. That is why he sucks.

  • He knows the moves but lacks actual technique. Even the body movements are known to have an intoxicating effect on prey. I suggest capturing a "real" praying mantis, Feed and study it. In addition. Work on your balance and core flexibility. Your linbs may be doing all the work but your torso is log like. That may be why it looks a little akward. Keep up the good work.
