  • @fromthebottom2thetop: It's flattering that you compare this shot to something from a $100K film, when one of the points was to show what you can do with a tiny, tiny fraction of that. Of the two films made for the DVD, Unawakening (this scene) was meant to show what you can do with a very short schedule (2 days in this case) and very small budget, while A Little Mouth to Feed (shown briefly) represents what you can do with a little more money and a little more time..   • Great technical insight, however I hate the blue that was achieved. It seems that it always shows up in low budget works, or should I say when the money went everywhere but into the film, whether dv or film. Even the B movies of HBO and Showtime fame from 15, 20 years ago. A lot of make a movie for the tax write off films have this look too. You know, the ones you're watching and you say to yourself; "somebody actually spent $100K on this?" I hope the dvd shows some good looks on the cheap
