Ferret Fun - The Trio

A silly & fun ferret flavored video of our small business wardancing and playing around.

The starts of the show are:

Dook - Fat Albino
Apollo - Big Brother
Houdini - Little Brother

The video itself was all captured in an evening and rather hastily edited together, despite this fact, I hope it manages to convey just how much fun ferrets can be!

They are all rescue Ferrets. We found Dook while we were out riding. He was very young and in a terrible state, he stumbled out of the hedgerow into the road, nothing but skin and bones and totally covered in fleas; on deaths door - We doubt he would have lasted another night. Unable to find a local owner, we nursed him back to health, learned what we could about ferrets, and eventually picked up the brothers from a ferret rescue center to keep him company. They have been in business since.

That was some (unseasoned) cooked lamb off the bone left over from an evening meal.

Their favourite treat has to be raw minced beef though!

@OmniDetta Is it safe to give ferrets french fries? Cause If I get a ferret I plan I sharing some of mah fries with it :l

I'm afraid not Andy, if you plan on keeping ferrets you have to be very carfull what you feed them, unlike dogs and cats they are "Obligate Carnivores", Wiki can describe this far better than I:

"Obligate or true carnivores depend solely on the nutrients found in animal flesh for their survival. While they may consume small amounts of plant material, they lack the physiology required for the efficient digestion of vegetable matter"

A most excellent ferret rescue story. What was that you were feeding them at the beginning of the video? All my ferrets were rescues (four have since passed on over the past 9 years, but three remain now).

I know someone trying to talk her mom into letting her get a ferret - I think I'll show them this video.
