Trainer Troy Smith benches with two 24kg kettlebells affixed to each side of the bar using Jump Stretch bands. Total weight is 291lbs, but the motion is more difficult with the dynamic affect of the banded bells. This technique forces you to maintain constant tension as all your acceleration forces are absorbed due to the inertia of the banded bells.
