Because either whoever owns the music has a stick so far up their ass they can taste it or because Youtube has decided to slowly eat away at all music videos (or both), it had come to my attention that I either take the music off or delete the video. I chose the former, the lesser of two evils.

(Vlad Tepes 1979) Got the movie this past weekend and fell in love with it. Granted I don't understand Romanian....yet....but I still understood most of what was going on considering I've read almost everything about Vlad's life.

Thankyou for showing a side of this great man that few others will.He rose from a childhood of imprisonment and personal betrayal to answer the call of the church to fight against the invading Turks.He was a man religious conviction who founded and aided monasteries,repaid the Turks in their own horrid manner;married,fathered children and defended his beloved land with undying loyalty and fervor. Our leaders sell us for barrels of oil now or trade agreements...who would not have him back?

I seriously could not fit everything I love about Vlad here in this small space, but I will say that, granted some of his methods where to the extreme, but for the time and situations had to be done. He really did love his country and his people and wanted the best for them. Very glad you liked the video and show Vlad the respect and devotion he deserves, even in this day and age. *bows*

I agree with you on all counts!The 1989 Florescu and McNalley book on Vladislav is what got me intrigued,and I've been a devotee ever since.Another similar character is portrayed in the 1997 Polish film Ogniem i Mieczem.Jarema Korybut Wisniowiecki (1612-1651)was a Polish-Lithuanian Prince dealing with opposing forces in like fashion.The scenes #11,14,20 &21 are especially good too as the actor (Andrzej Seweryn) is evocative in dress and actions of V.D.,and this movie is fabulous!Multsumesc.
