10AM, Adelaide Street. In what became the biggest welcome home ceremony since the Vietnam War, 15,000 people lined the streets to honour the 2,500 soldiers of the army's 7th Brigade in Brisbane. The parade marked the end of 7th Brigade's contributious to operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and East Timor in 2010.

Brilliant stuff! Brissie you did Australia proud in turning out to welcome the boys home. It makes all the difference to the troops when your countrymen welcome you back to home shores.
