STEP 1 -- [Optional] Home Button Sticker

• Attach a piece of rolled up tape to the edge of the home button sticker you wish to use.
• Peel off the sticker.
• Holding the tape, align the sticker over the home button.
• Once you are satisfied with the alignment, press down and remove the tape.

Tip: If you are unsatisfied with the placement, peel off the home button sticker and repeat the previous steps.




STEP 2 -- VITREO Alignment

• Take your VITREO and place it on the iPad to get an idea of the alignment before installation.


STEP 3 -- Clean the Screen
Caption: Remove any previous screen protector from your iPad


• Using the provided alcohol wipe and microfiber cloth, clean off your screen so there are no fingerprints, lint or dust.
Tip: use a rolled up piece of tape to remove any particles left.


STEP 4 -- Preparing the VITREO

• Hold the VITREO perpendicular to the table with one hand and use the other hand to peel off the back film that covers the adhesive side.
• Immediately hold the VITREO with adhesive side facing down to prevent catching dust. If it catches dust, use a piece of rolled up tape again to remove.


STEP 5 -- Installation

• Hold the VITREO above your clean iPad screen and align according to the home button. You can adjust as needed.
• Once aligned, gently place down on iPad screen and then gently push the center to activate the adhesion. You should see it spreading.




STEP 6 -- Lint and bubbles

Tip: If you see any bubbles during spreading of the adhesive, lift the closest corner using the plastic pick.


• If one side of the plastic pick does not work, flip over and use the other side.
• Push perpendicularly to the VITREO to lift the corner instead of trying to wedge the plastic pick in between. Be careful to not damage the corner adhesive as you are lifting.
• Once you have a large enough gap, use your finger to hold the corner steady and gradually lift until the bubble is gone.
• Place the VITREO down again.

Tip: While adhesion is spreading, if you see any lint, use the plastic pick to lift the closest corner.


• Push perpendicularly to the VITREO to lift the corner again. Be careful to not damage the corner adhesive.
• Once you have a large enough gap, use your finger to hold the corner steady and gradually lift until the lint accessible. Use a long piece of tape to extract the lint.
• Place the VITREO down again.


STEP 7 -- Side bubbles

• For side bubbles, use your plastic pick to push the bubble out to the side.
