Skyrim - Blood on the Ice - buggy @ "catch the murderer"

I bought the house duringe the quest "Blood on the Ice" somehow. now i should catch the Killer - Calixto Corrium, but all he does is standing in MY house and i can't talk to him, kill him or pickpocket him to steal his journal - even guards are coming and protect him. :p

Im really f***ed with this quest. I love this game but its like dating a supermodel that is blatantly cheating on me. Its a major trade off for a fantastic experience I just bought the house in Windhelm, we will see now whats up or if Im eternally f(((((ed 85 hours in to my one playthrough.

if your on the part with "catch the murderer" and Calixto is in the house, what i did was "player(DOT)setstage MS11 150" to set it to the next stage, and he was gone, but since things in quests like these with many alternates can go off, i believe you can do "player(DOT)setstage MS11b 150" as well, without quotation marks of course, if this helps, just leave another comment on the this page. note: the "(DOT)" means a period- "." <- that :P

@RussianPremier After seeing that I was having a glitch too. I just went to the house "Hjerim" the game acted like I was just progressing by giving me the objective completed, next I Picked the Lock (Master) at the "Hjerim" and after inside it gave me new objectives. Hope this Helps
