Here is a slow motion full video of Garrett McNamara world record for largest wave surfed by successfully navigating this 90-foot wall of watery death. The previous record—77 feet—was set by Mike Parsons in 2008. The song is Surfer Girl by Chris Blackwell.

The Dominican Province of St. Joseph through the province's project of Kindly Light Media will unveil a new 30 minute documentary film featuring Dr. Peter Kreeft. The program will relate surfing to the mystical experience. More details coming soon. http://www.kindlylight.org/2011/06/16/i-surf-therefore-i-am/

  • The bible says God thinks slavery is peachy. I wonder how DHSpriory spins that...

  • A proper interpretation of the Bible would not lead one to conclude that "God thinks slavery is peachy." Try reading the Catechism of the Catholic Church on the dignity and rights of the human person. For a good article search on Google: "Let My People Go: The Catholic Church and Slavery by Mark Brumley"
