This tape had replaced Gay Paris By Night in April 1962 and remained in service until October 1962 when it was replaced by Floride. Enjoy this clip with the BBC ident signals at either end with the following tracks: 1. New York City; 2. Himalaya; 3. Violons Magiques; 4. A Verise Moi J'ai Pleure.

  • I am trying to think of the title of a recording where only a piano was playing it reminded me of the wild west saloon bars does anyone know what it was called. The year was about 1964-66 possibly 1967. On BBC1. Black & White.

  • Last time I heard this I was 13 or 14 !

  • And the title track (along with track 2, Himalaya, and track 3, Violons Magiques) came back in 1966 as part of the "Asia Minor" tape.

  • excellant music the final track superb the quality is perfect,thankyou...

  • Excellent! Reminds me of the old tram ride along the Belgian coast in 1963.
