Dude, how can you do anything in your engine without cleaning it before? There's a lot of dirt around valve check windows and on the head cover / frame. It should be cleaned prior to removing these caps.

My son has a 90 model DR 650 and i suspect it needs an sdjustment from the racket im hearing . Is the lash the same and what exactly was it i couldnt hear you clearly ? We listen slowly here in the mountains lol .
