The Moody Blues, the Sistine Chapel of rock.

Can't forget Genesis and Peter Gabriel solo either. The music of musicians like the Moodies and the other art rock bands who dared to push the boundaries of rock and classical music will never be in the mainstream again, but their music will never die.

Experts on the Moody Blues Facebook group tell me that this music is the two backing tracks created by Tony Clarke for the quad mixes done in the 70s. And Mike is playing a Chamberlin on this, they say.

Ah ha! Here is undisputable proof that the Moodies music could be re-released as instrumentals...and still be totally amazing. I know I would re-purchase each and every album if they were re-released in instrumental version....like this song. I LIKE IT...LOTS!

Very definitely the instrumental backdrop of "The Land of Make Believe". Smuugled out of the studio somehow?

This is very unique. I'm hearing a couple of songs in this, like "Living In A Land Of Make beleive" and "Who Are You Now",or am I way off. What is this. I don't know, but this is great. Thank you for posting. justinh
Taranberk, where did you find this?

@DieselProductions11 it's a mystery - it turned up on a cassette years ago and I have no idea what the origin is.

@Taranberk Where did you get the cassette?
DieselProductions11 1 year ago
@DieselProductions11 This came from someone I used to write to about 25 years ago who got it from someone else. Sorry, but the trail is cold - no way for me to track it down. I never knew the original source.
