I just got me a Spectralis2 also - not the easiest thing to learn....

How do you get the vocal samples into it???

Please don't judge it by this video alone. Spectralis can sound like nearly anything. It is insanely powerful and flexible. it can be sharp and aggressive or smooth as silk. Check out the sound samples on Radikal's website.

I used to own a spectralis 1. I sold it. I didn,t like the convoluted non intuitive programmingand menus no controller sends, poor effects no parameter locks or means of putting controller changes into a sequence. I didn't like the sound of the digital oscillators either. Oh yeah and instead of sorting the issues with the first version spectralis 2 was released. I was bought it on the strength of write ups by people who worship the device. It all reminded me of the emperors new clothes.

MMm.... I kind of like the Spectralis but I haven't seen any WOW stuff to make me pay th $2500 they are asking for it. So far I can do the same things with Logic, and if I want a good step sequencer I could get the Quasimidi Polymorph instead. It seems the Spectralis is suffering from the same thing as the Kurzweil K2+ like.. loads of features but way too complex, as an example, you won't find a demo of the Spectralis in action, no one know how to use it.
