The first model of my new model railway...
In June we said goodbye to Oxted and I looked at possibilities for new layouts. I short-listed Uckfield, Berwick and Ore, and the latter was chosen for its nice variety of terminating and through trains, plus the carriage sidings would add further interest.
It, like Oxted was, is set in the late 1930s, Southern Railway Maunsell/Bullied transition period, just prior to electrification of the East Coastway.
Well anyway, here is Southern 'T9' No. 729, a Hornby model on the 19.09 Ore-Brighton semi-fast.
It would be great to get some feedback so comments, please!
