On Saturday May 3rd at the 10th Anniversary of the Fiesta of the Spanish Horse held at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, California, we were entertained by the award-winning Rainbow Riders. Captain Dottie Pierce and the Rainbow Riders have been performing their fast-paced, percision maneuvers at many California rodeos, equestrian events, and fundraisers since 1986.
From Romona, California, the Rainbow Riders are made up of women of all ages who come from all walks of life. The team performs a high-speed precision drill with intricate, and at times, gripping maneuvers, filling the arena with fast horses and a swirl of rainbow colors.
Often referred to as the "Blue Angels on horseback," thand camaraderic help make Rainbow Riders an exciting drill team that will have you on the edge of your seat.
They were proud to be part of the Fiesta of the Spanish Horse!
