More Hints: Find a “You Pick” place during Season for fruits and veggies. Organic seems more expensive but due to the higher nutritional value (up to 3000x more per item) you will eat less. Cheaper by the case if you get a group of friends together for produce. International Markets & Trader Joe’s are very budget friendly. Beans for sweet or savory humus (T.J. .89 a can organic). Think Nationality for rice, lentils, barley, & quinoa themed salads, s/a Greek Lentil or Pico de Gallo Rice.

i honestly dont have time for cooking. i just buy pre-packaged food. like literally i buy everything pre-package. being a university student really sucks. but good thing my mom pays for my grocery. obviously she wants me to focus on cooking instead of cooking lol

Also a great tip, is when you do want to buy those out of season fruits, buy them frozen. A big bag will cost about $12 which seems like a lot of money for 1 item. I know that where I live, a tiny tiny container of berries will cost nearly $5 out of season, when you will get literally more than 6x what you would have got with the small container for just twice the price! To me, a person who LOVES fruit, this is an awesome tip! Thumbs up! x o

@ElleSmalls So true! Also, when fruit IS in season and on sale I'll buy a ton and freeze it (I find this is best for berries like blueberries that tend to taste better fresh!)
