The Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, with the backing of the Education Bureau, is pushing for more instruction to instil a greater sense of national identity. One of the existing workshops held in a Tai Po centre teaches flag raising and you can see how it's done in this slideshow.

  • Why don't you fuck off to England then?

btw, please stay away from Canada too! Their flag is also red.

  • KMT was a joke. Every history agrees with that fact. Before you go fanboy on me, go conduct some independent research.

Everyone calls for "democracy" for China, but no one can answer any questions further than that.

  • @be1j1ngk1ng When did I say that I would? If I tried, I wouldn't be allowed due to the PRC's outrageous views on free speech, I bet most Hong Kongers feel the same but they don't dare to say their opinion for fear of being brutally repressed by the PRC government. During the British era people had the freedom to have their opinions heard but they don't now, how the hell is that moving forward?

  • @LordSpuggy why don't you go there and try to raise a british flag yourself. Just try. I dare you. I double dare you.

  • @lukebccb Woah, don't cry friend!

  • @LordSpuggy: it isn't so deal with it.

  • Hahaha cant believe how many butthurt Brits there are. You've lost your influence in the world, deal with it.

  • Should be a British flag being raised.

  • @jdi0093113 and loss all dignity in the process

  • Without the British it would never be what it is today Though it is a Chinese city you must always remember the britihs history of the city. Many a Chinese/British man died to keep Hong Kong British.

  • @unknown827 Now it does.
