Serch you computer for "Fallout3.esm".
If there would be no data folder, there would be no game installed.

I did exactly what you shown, and it still doesn't show up in my data file at launch or show up in my FOMM, any ideas what the issue is? For fellout, I extracted it, the only file that was in it was Fellout-Full.esm along with 2 readme texts. I put them all in the data folder so its E:/BethesdaSoftworks/Fallout3/Data/Fellout-Full.esm. From what I take, all I had to do was add it to the data file and then it should of showed up when you started Fallout 3 under the data button but nothing shows

Make sure that you patched the game to the most recent version.

whenever i download mods, or make something with the geck, it doesnt appear in my fallout 3 data folder at the launch screen. Can someone explain why and help me?

Try to run the GECK as Admin.

i dont know if anyone else gets this problem but when i try and open the launcher, i t says: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem." ? :( does nyone know what to do?

What Launcher are you using? Maybe an ini file setting is wrong. Already patched to the latest version?
