@xandramas The other 300 plus ponds I have built just like it are doing just fine. Some of these ponds have been in the ground for 8 years. There have never been any problems wuth the fish or plants and they all have automatic water levlers and they do not use that much water.

That thing would last 1 week from completely full to empty in july Thats a lot of shallow water and falls. That = dead fish and plants or an enormous water bill.
