Session 1 at a "track day" at a go-cart track outside Södertälje south of Stockholm, Sweden. The days are arranged by SMC (www.svmc.se) and open to everyone so people can work on their driving skills. No racing or stunts allowed. Passing only allowed on the straights in this group except for instructors (yellow vests) or to avoid incidents.

A chilly first session on a wet track after the previous nigths rain. Cold tires made everyone take it a bit easy. Speeds ranged from approx. 20km/h at the entry to the hairpin to just above 100km/h at the end of the long straight.

N.B. filmed using a CountourHD in 760p mode at 60fps. Camera attached to the right side of the helmet at eye level. Sound, what little there is, is directly from the camera. The carting track is 904 meters long and 8-10 m wide. The longest straight is 170 m.
