How to install Racing style car seats

I got the seats on eBay, payed $270 for them. I used thick sheet metal for the cross brackets, and used the original sliding brackets the original seats were attached to.

I did the same thing on a mustang got sheet metal and measured all this bs , was a pain in the ass .

@KcKreicar WHATS FUNNY IS THE RANCHERO WAS MADE WITH NON RECLINING SEATS LOL and some ass put in some wierd seats in mine so i have to go and add some racing seats it will contribute to my gas part well.

Really good Idea for mounting. I don't want to weld in the seats so this is a great solution.

@GiovanniObson I think they are but, after sitting on them for more than a 1hrs drive they can be uncomfortable. one of my friends doesn't like them because they push his shoulders forward to much he said cuz of well idk what they are called but the things on the top that go out at an angle.

@knowncorn might have been 1/4 of a inch, I think that's right. I wouldn't go any thinner than that though.
