Preaching hemp is usually a social conditioning tactic to get people use to the idea of things like hemp and marijuana. Marijuana as "medicine" & hemp as fuel are "smoke screens" of conditioning. I'm sure nobody is apposed to hemp including me, but don't think for a minute that hemp won't be use to disguise the growing and transporting of pot! When I find a hemp advocate I find a pot smoker nearly every time. Burning anything for power is not smart, heat is what we need and geothermal is it.

@russianextwasteland social conditioning? the propaganda the government uses against marijuana is what i would call social conditioning. i've seen evidence of hemp oil curing cancer and various other illnesses, smoking marijuana can help people relieve their pain, there is no single death as a result of smoking marijuana, it is a safer alternative to drinking alcohol or any other drug and prison cells are over crowded because someone decided to smoke a herb. theres your "medicine"

All the reasons that she gave for why hemp should be legal is why it is illegal. Why would the oil companies and the chemical companies allow themselves to go out of business. You don't think they spend billions to lobby the government to keep it illegal.
