@hujjesb like pomguy said. Its also to cultivate a healthy agression factor in them. In short this helps them become better killers which is what the job requires. I heard from a friend about a para who got slogged in the face so hard during milling that his nose broke. Guy took a step back, cracked it back into place and went straight back to beating the ever loving shit out of the other guy. Para's are touch bastards, every single one of them.

@pomguy cool thanks mate
-
@garywhitesides its not a matter of winning or loosing its just to see if you can control your aggression and attack upon command.

@pomguy well you got me thinking on that, and yes good point .never thought off that one .also the paras are simply the best .I was climbing our biggest mountain here in Scotland Ben Nevis its, a long hike ..and I was really finding it hard .guess what, 3 paras ran past me .yes RAN past me .it took me 9 hrs to walk up .and I could not walk next day .them lads are fit boys .best in the world .

I never see any real fighting in milling.. I know your not supposed to block but you would dodge a few!

@LMG719Enterprise the whole point is getting hit and hitting them back harder. test of toughness rather than fighting skill

@hujjesb controlled aggresion see if you can on comand punch the living shit out of some1 you have been training with for the previous 4 months and react to words of command. Good test to see how you would react in a fire fight with the enemy.
