"missile" means any object flying through the air. what gives support to the conspiracy theory is that ruMsfeld slipped up and said the same thing, a missile....um...er....AIRPLANE hit the pentagon.

@292lift Yes, some government sources like military and police but mostly by structural engineers, explosives experts, fire experts, aviation experts, etc. The vast majority of experts in all areas of 9/11 do not support any of the conspiracy theories.

No. In a war they would be expecting planes flying in to attack them. The US Air defences before 911 were only expecting attacks coming in from outside the country. There were hundreds of planes in the air on 911. Imagine if they had started shooting planes full of people out of the sky. What if they had shot the wrong one down?

In the Jugoslavian war a Mig was entering Austrian aerospace. Within minutes there were two Saab Draken taking off to bring the Mig down to land.

And in USA, after the biggest "Terrorist" attack, two high-jacked planes are flying around the country for hours, towards the pentagon, towards the white house without anybody noticing? Are you that damn stupid or is it your defense system?
