    I do have one little comment, after bypass shouldnt you eat multi small meals a day...by you skipping breakfast cant that cause health problems?

  • I've never eaten breakfast, or should I say.... I usually wake up in the middle of the night and eat a protein bar, like 3-4am... that's breakfast. :)

  • Hey Beth, just FYI, as a nurse I was always taught to warn a patient that chewable iron will take the enamel off the teeth.. i hate to tell you that :(

    Liquid forms of iron supplement tend to stain the teeth. To prevent, reduce, or remove these stains: * Mix each dose in water, fruit juice, or tomato juice. You may use a drinking tube or straw to help keep the iron supplement from getting on the teeth. * Iron stains on teeth can usually be removed by brushing with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) or medicinal peroxide (hydrogen peroxide 3%).

  • Mmmmmmm. Steak. I'm absolutely CRAVING some juicy red meat. Steak is good food. I tried to eat chop meat. Didn't work. I was nauseated for 3 hours. But nice rare, red beef filet? No problems digesting it whatsoever. I AM looking into organic, grass fed meats. The chemicals in commercial meats are too dangerous for all involved. Anyway, fat is good for you. I can't digest it but I'm reading more on the topic. Be well. Stay well. I'm putting this video on my blog today so people can enjoy you!

  • Steak is awesome. It has helped me cut fat and gain muscle. Red meat offers the best source of protein for a bodybuilder. You cannot go wrong with steak.

  • I've heard people having far better luck with their leftovers by heating them using a bamboo steamer instead of a microwave. Sounds like a pain in the arse, tho.

    I like the B.A. Passion Fruit iron. I usually just let it melt on my tongue instead of chewing (here's hoping that helps save my teeth!)

  • I want some of thos iron pills! Im always low in iron.

  • I mispoke, you are right. It is the iron that discolors but chewable vitamin C that causes degredation of the enamel of one's teeth. Ooops. Sorry about that.
