We're looking for that first-time speaker whose poems scribbled on napkins and composition books may have never been heard. We're looking for the seasoned artist who shares a message through poetry, monologue, vocal/musical performance or dance. We're looking for those who appreciate the art of communication. We're looking for you.
It's a new semester with more themes to RELATE through spoken-word poetry, monologue, vocal or musical performance and dance. The Speech faculty of the Department of Mass Communication invite you to creatively communicate your ideas and talent based on a single-word theme.
Here are some snippets of RELATE to Fear which took place at Nicholls State University in the Plantation Suite on Thursday, September 8. Creative Writing Instructor and Poet Jay Udall was our featured guest on the evening.
