@onstageagain Wrong. I'm not a fan of TBN, but there's a common misconception about tax laws regarding non-profits in the US. Non-profit corporations are exempt from corporate taxes (taxes on profits), but they still have to pay payroll (FICA) taxes on their employees, and employees of non-profits pay the same FICA and income taxes as everyone else.

We all know that something is wrong with the mainline of Christianity.
Not everyone that says to me Lord Lord..........................
.......... We need to search and seek the truth from God's word, it is sharper than any 2 edged sword!

But it gets worse.. Information reported on the organization's most recent Form 990 has Paul Crouch’s compensation package at $419,000 and Janice Crouch’s at $361,000, which makes a whopping total of $ 780,000. This is tax free... The compensation package includes salary, cash bonuses, and unusually large expense accounts and other allowances. w -w -w, charity navigator

@Phonyender By the way, there's no such thing as the christian or catholic "hell". Hell is not a location.
-
@Phonyender Oh,but it does. What you should've said,if you were to be honest with yourself and your belief's, is " ...we're all going to hell and we need Jesus, and 10% tithe, and in fact, all that you can give, to bring us salvation.". But,of course,we know in TRUTH,nobody can save you but your Self. Salvation isn't a thing, not an end,but a way. The way of salvation is through your unity with God(the Whole). Grace is the givingness of Spirit to Its Creation. Jesus is a Wayshower.
-
Haha, but that is not what the church does. Its "were all going to hell and we need Jesus, not money, to bring us salvation."
-
There is no difference in a self-help guru saying "pay for my book and i'll tell you how to get rich" and The Church saying,"Come to Church and give us 10% tithe and be a christian or you will surely burn in hell". Actually the latter is much more sick.

Not being christian is inherently depressing ? ? ? ? ? YOU HAVE A FUCKED UP WORLD VIEW MAN ! ! ! I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING MORE DEPRESSING THAN EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW TO BE REAL IS NOTHING MORE THAN SOME SHITTY TEST TO SEE IF I GET TO KISS SOME HOLY ASSHOLES ASS FOR ALL ETERNITY.

I have found that Fundamentalist Christians believe that if you read your bible, go to church, tith 10% , listens to only christian music feels they have the right to judge people. This person thinks that he is living a perfect sinless life. This person however, has beat me up, he lies frequently, he came on to me when I was married etc .yet she his sister whom is idalizes thinks that HE is perfect and does not judge him. Seems their Christian Doctrin got in the way of what a true Christian is.
-
I over drank a few times & someone judged me on my drinking. I am friends with the ladies brother. She does not like me , she is a Supposed Christian but is judging me harshly & not based on who I am. Her brother was married 4 times & is very jealous yet she accepts him as perfect. What do you do when a Christian judges you without even knowing all of the facts? This man is 65 years old & He idolizes his sister. If she does not like me then he cannot be around me.... I hate the hypocrisy
Great! If all pastors preached that we would see some great changes in our churches. Conversions and true Christian living would be a good start.

I think your being hypercritical of Driscoll. I wouldn't want my kids listening to a song that told them they were going to be Healthy and Wealthy because of their faith, even if that came from a Christian artist.
Sure they're plenty of ace christian musicans out there. He didnt say Comtempary Christian music is bad, but he said just because its Christian in the label doesnt mean its Biblical.
