Obama Election Rally, Nov. 2008

Filmed, produced and edited by BU students Lori Schmon and Sopan Deb. When Barack Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States, I was covering the historical event at Senator John Kerrys election rally in Boston. Obama supporters came in all ages to cheer on the first ever African-American nominee for President. As the election results came in that Obama won in an electoral landslide, the vociferous crowd rallied with hope that the new Presidents campaign slogan would indeed ring true that Barack Obama would bring change to America.
