Low Cost Do-It-Yourself Dry Toilet System. Why Waste Water? Au petit coin du jardin.

We haven't used our flush toilet for a year and have already saved 2/3 of our annual water bill. Better for us, better for the plant. My previous film showed how to make the compost bin, this one shows in detail the stages necessary for the construction of a small cabin to house the dry toilet, using wood recuperated from untreated pallets. This design can be used to create other small garden outbuildings for storage or recreation, the only limit is your imagination! The next film will show how to make the receptacle housing and the seat - we have three, two in the outside toilet and one in the house.

@ByNatureFarms Thanks for your great comment. Yes it's an outside toilet but I show how to make that in my next video. I made it into a three part film, the first was the compost bin and this one is the second part. There was just too much detail to get through. We have been running ours for a year now, a two seater in the garden and one in the house. Waterbills are down by two thirds, bit chilly in December but a great way to be out and about early. The first compost bin has already composted!
