no doubt murali was a cricketing great...and will be remembered as an awesome bowler because he made his mark...but if u compare him to warnie, thats out of the question mate....if murali was a cricketing great, warne is a cricketing legend....warne cud make top batsmen look like total asswipes on dead wickets whereas murali showed performance on turning wickets only mate...

@dvasil987 Well, to be fair he did play for england
-
@chirmchirm, well Murali's strike rate was better than Warne's - so that's your argument out the window! Murali was better, simple as that - even if you take out his stats against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
-
murali had more 5fers? so fuckin what? he had chaminda vaas to contend with, warnie had mcgrath arguably the greatest fast bowler ever in the same team, gillespie, brett lee, kasporwicz, the list goes on... warnie is and always will be the king
-
Now can you put up the sequel, where England beat Australia in Adelaide only having to bat once.
-
shane warne is a better bowler because murli chucked it
-
Its funny when Tony Greig always says clean bowled when they alway get a thick edge onto the stumps
-
Who wishes Mark Nicholas would just shut the fuck up
-
Murali chucked it though
Murilatharan as taken over 100 wickets against Bangladesh and Zimabwe. Warne hardly played against them. Warne is better
