The Chameleon's album "What Does Anything Mean? Basically, was originally released back in 1985 (Dead Dead Good Records), after the release of their great debut album from 1983 titled Script of the Bridge.

A collectors edition of The Chameleons second studio album, What Does Anything Mean? Basically has recently been released (Nov. 2009); it contains a 2 cd set which features a re-mastered version of the original album, plus a 9-track bonus disc featuring previously unreleased demo recordings.

From the Collectors edition mentioned above I have picked "One Flesh (demo version). It Originally appears as track 08 in 1985's release, and as track 06 (Cd # 2) on the collectors edition album (2009)

  • Wow.. I just realized I was in this song thread. And yet I don't remember until I read a post from an account that was mysteriously closed.

  • Wow. And it's a demo tape? I never heard this version. What a fantastic find. Thank You.

  • Fucking Great!!!

  • I love this band and wish we still had music like this now.

  • I may kid at times but dont be surprized if someone as famous as Bono had stopped C-UK from advancing in popularity. A sad thing for Mark and the boys financially, but we love our underground club music. ChamsUK were most listened to in the SF Bay Area if it wasnt mainstream. PS I dig Bono.. just messing with his name

  • Still my favorite, there has never been a band like them and there will never be....

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Picked this album up this week and must say its awesome..so many happy memories come flooding back..

  • pretty good version of the song, better than the album one this is more like the strange times-style

  • Dude.

  • Fantastic version!!! My favourite band 4 ever and ever!!!!

  • Wow! I had no Idea this was out already. Thanks for posting it!
