You could stick a punch shape on top of the punches to make it easier to see what they are.

But how do you see the ones in the third row and in the middle of the row---and how do you get those out when you need them?

it's wide enough that I can reach the back of the storage and I can see through the holes on the top of the rack, I kinda know what punches are where.
